What you'll do

This is a 2.30 hour relaxed walking through the forest to enjoy a peaceful time with Nature. We will depart around 7 pm from the meeting point (Flores do Cabo restaurant) and walk through the forest to Peninha Sanctuary. On our way we'll appreciate magnificent views of Guincho and Cascais. We will avoid the main road and use trails in the middle of the forest to get to Adro Nunes, an old dolmen located 420m above the sea level with a panoramic view of Cape Roca and the western coast of Lisbon. Here we will spend some time to appreciate the sunset. This is a mindfulness walk of full communion with Nature. We'll come back around 9.30 pm. The order of each stop may change depending on time of the year and sunset time. We invite you to collect any garbage (mostly plastic) you notice during the walk. We want to make sure we keep our forest clean :) We can adapt the walk to children under 12. Please contact us if you need a ride from Sintra or Cascais train station.

Rita

Hi, I am Rita a nature and sports lover. After living 8 years in London I've moved back to Lisbon to be closer to friends, family and the beach :) I love to run and do functional training outside either on the beach or in Sintra woods. I studied Nutrition and Sports and love to motivate people to move!!! Sometimes training inside a gym can be boring, my goal is to bring people outside to train and enjoy Nature. I'd be delighted to take you on a walk inside Sintra Forest to explore the hidden viewpoints of this magic place.
