My name is Bam Bi, a traditional painting artist and co-founder of B/S Art Studio in Vietnam. I grew up in a family of conventional artists. The lullabies from my grandmother & folk tunes from my mother nurtured a deep appreciation for art. With the bamboo flute and piano, I have remixed Vietnamese songs with new melodies to introduce historical stories.

We opted for the tea and music experience, rather than the hat painting, and it was amazing. It's clear that there's artistry and craft in both the music and paintings on the wall, and we learned so much about Vietnamese history and art history. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Bam Bi was a phenomenal host and ambassador for her country! She demonstrated a high level of passion through her music and visual arts for the Vietnamese culture, history and tradition. This was perfect venue and way to experience Vietnam for first time visitors like ourselves. We felt very welcome in the studio and Bam Bi ensured that we were comfortable including serving us home made tea, candy and cookies. We really felt fortunate finding this experience and highly recommend this for persons who want a unique perspective to the country and people!

Bam Bi was extremely excited to share her music and culture with us. Her class is a brief overview of the traditional music of Vietnam. She showcases the music with a live performance using three types of bamboo flutes, then explains the difference between them and how and when they're used.
it's a short experience only about an hour, but that doesn't detract from it. She also showcases her own art and how it ties into the rich Vietnamese culture. Do it hesitate to ask her any questions as she is eager to share her knowledge.

They were so friendly and talented! And so much to enjoy: tea, sweets, piano, flutes, stories, cultures, art, etc. Also, explanations in both English or Japanese were available so my parents could both enjoy this activity too 😊
