What you'll do
We will access the Finca de Plataneras, from the old Animal Zone and Rural House, where we will get an idea of the extent of the plantation (extension), and tell a little history of the House, alpendres, water pond, and Plantation . Later we access the actual plantation, where the development of the plants will be observed, irrigation, cutting, storage for later shipment, etc.
M Del Pilar
My name is Pilar Arenal, and for 14 years I am married and I live in constant relation with the exploitation of Fincas de Plataneras, since my husband is a producer of bananas, and our business is that: the exploitation of Finca de Plataneras, and its export. I have lived in France and England, so the guided tour in different languages is not a problem for me! I've been doing guided tours for a couple of years, and the truth is that I love it! teach a little history, origins of the banana, how it came to the Canary Islands, technical aspects of cultivation, irrigation, channeling ... and other surprises.
