What you'll do

You'll jump into exploring Denver the best way possible: on foot! You'll get to see and experience Denver's unique sights, landmarks and history, plus see some hidden spots and learn some insider info that even many locals don't know about.

We'll meet at the front steps of the Colorado State Capitol and hit the streets for our walking cultural & history adventure of Denver. We'll explore Denver's Civic Center area and hip LoDo (Lower Downtown) areas together, including 11 of our favorite sights while also digging into Denver's great culture and history that make our Mile High City so unique. If you're the type that likes a little bit of everything: history, culture, art, & architecture; this tour's for you.

This walking experience visits the State Capitol, the old Carnegie Library, the famous Art Museum complex, the gorgeous Civic Center Park, and our U.S. Mint, where you'll hear some epic heist stories. We'll then walk a few blocks to LoDo to visit the famous Big Blue Bear, two must-sees: Larimer Square and Union Station, and much more.

We give great recommendations on where to grab a bite to eat or drink after your experience ends. Along the way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to take pics, ask questions, & learn more in 2-2.5 hours than you thought possible.
Other things to note
1.7 mile walking route; very flat walk with plenty of stops.
Wheelchair and stroller accessible.
All ages are welcome!
You must arrive by 9:50 am for our scheduled 10 am departure time to check-in. We're not able to hold up the tour and are not able to answer our phone once the tour departs.

I lived in Australia 16 years ago, which is where I met my husband, a Kiwi. I spent the next decade traveling the world to 48 countries and counting, whenever I had the chance, around my full-time job. Walking tours have always been my favorite way to experience a new city, the people and the culture. I've been leading experiences alongside my wonderful, local teammates here in Denver since 2015 as a way to have fun, work with and meet amazing people, like you, from all over the world. Experience the top sights, landmarks and history of our Mile High City from my insider's perspective (or that of one of my teammates) - we hope to see you soon!

An amazing way to understand a little bit about Denver, it's history, architechture, art and its people! The host was extremely friendly, had a great way of seamlessly merging history, art and architechture into one big story about Denver. Definitely recommend it to those in Denver for the first time!

Alyce, our tour guide, was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. My 13 year old daughter and I felt very comfortable and as if we were talking to a friend rather than a stranger. Alyce was able to answer every question we threw at her. She was a very kind and genuine person who we could tell really cared about the history of Denver. After touring with her, we felt as if we were a part of Denver and weren’t just tourists. Unfortunately several buildings along the tour were fenced off, but nonetheless, Alyce still gave us plenty of information. Rest breaks were allowed and she knew where the public restrooms were. Alyce also has a designated break stop for us where we could shop a little and hang out outside! She also recommended a coffee shop to stop at. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a water bottle.
