Where you'll be

We´ll visit the skirts of Sierra La Laguna chain of mountains that hides on the top a water spring providing 70% of clear water to the population of cabo and la paz; that´s whats makes SEMITROPICAL this desert. Our hike is part of an ancient road of our native nomad the PERICU for deer hunting(now protected). We´ll find natural waterslides and springs where We´ll refresh on.

This was a really great tour, we learnt a lot and saw a really unique part of Baja California. Danny is great guide and made the trip really personalised and interesting, answering all our questions! I would definitely recommend.

Danny has exceptional knowledge of the area. We loved the breakfast we had prepared by the ranchero family. Danny is a great guide but be prepared to have a good work out.

Danny is an amazing tour guide - he connects with everyone around him from the folks on our tour to rancheros and others we met throughout the day. This tour offers a glimpse into a different side of Mexico you won't find along the beaches. We started our day with a scenic drive out of San Jose del Cabo, a quick stop in Miraflores, and then to a Mexican ranch to meet and learn about Ranchero life. Breakfast is optional but highly recommended! The hike in Sierra de la Laguna park was lovely - Danny has great knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area. Highly recommend this tour!

Danny is a great guide! I didn’t think I would be able to do any hiking because I wasn’t sure about roads/access in my tiny little rental car. He was originally all booked on the day I wanted to go, but he let me know last minute that there was a cancellation and even was able to pick me up in San Jose del Cabo. The ranch was lovely, and the hike even lovelier. Good pace with plenty of explanations and stories along the way. Got to stop in Miraflores as well and have an amazing margarita! Also gave me some tips for the remainder of my trip. Thanks Danny!

This was an absolutely fabulous experience. Danny and Nacho were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the local culture. We visited a local ranchero and had breakfast and coffee then proceeded to the Sierra de la Laguna mountains for a very memorable hike. The semi- tropical landscape is beautiful. There are cows grazing in the woods and drinking down near the stream. The guides' shared many interesting pieces of information about the culture, the flora and the fauna throughout the day. A stop in Miraflores for a pitaya margarita was a perfect ending to a delightful day. Well worth the value for a great day out. And, we loved we made two new friends! Highly recommend!
