What you'll do
On our journey together I will share local knowledge regarding the rich history of this area and how man made developments have changed and created the landscape we see today. A sup is the perfect way to explore this diverse environment and learn how it all connects together. We will begin our relaxed paddle accessing secluded areas that are very peaceful and quiet in the early morning and brimming with bird and fish life. Our journey continues through the river to the Noosa Woods where we will park the boards and take a stroll to look at the stunning Luguna Bay which has occasional visits by dolphins and whales and in the warmer months have a chance for a quick dip. Once refreshed, we will continue our paddle meandering around the Noosa canals admiring all the beautiful homes that are built along the waterways. The journey will be flexible and we can stop as often as you like. We will end the tour by having coffee/ drink together at my favourite cafe which we will paddle up to as it is situated right on the river. I will be able to give you recommendations of cafes and restaurants in Noosa and suggest other interesting areas to explore on the paddleboard.
I learnt to paddleboard on the beautiful Noosa River ten years ago and it’s been my passion ever since. I have paddle boarded in nine different countries. There’s nothing like being on a river, canal or on the sea immersed in the local landscape , seeing wildlife up close, and enjoying the friendship of likeminded people. I previously worked as a food tour guide in NZ and the highlight is connecting with other people and cultures and sharing your passion therefore I would like to invite you on a personalised sup tour in my neck of the woods, around the stunning Noosa river.

Where you'll be
We will be on the Noosa River exploring the waterways that were once inhabited by the Kabi Kabi people. The river and surrounding rain forest provided the Aboriginal people with an abundance of food. Our journey will take us to where the river joins the Pacific Ocean and then onto the man made canals and the Noosa Sound that was created to accommodate the substantial residential development you see today.
