What you'll do

A taste of Tuscany! Visit one of the world's most enchanting areas with rolling hills, stunning scenery, quaint villages and vineyards.
The first stop of our itinerary will be in San Gimignano, a very well preserved medieval town of Tuscan countryside , where you will have 30 minutes of free time to explore around.
Secondly, you will be taken in a local winery where you will have the chance to taste 5 different kinds of wine and have some snacks as ham, cheese and "cantucci", a traditional Tuscan biscuit.
After the wine tasting it will be time for lunch!
The lunch will take place in special farmhouse run by an amazing couple, where the authenticity and the passion for their work will charm you.
Obviously, photo stops and explainations during the road will be part the experience.
Other things to note

For about 20 years I have been working as a tour guide in Florence and all over Tuscany. The Chianti region is one of the areas I prefer for its history, magnificent landscapes, and the products of its land that have made this part of the region famous all over the world (wine, oil, cheese). Every day I feel lucky, leading guests is not only my job but a real passion and transmitting my enthusiasm about my land is my goal.
A few years ago I opened my own personal Tour Operator, ACCORD Italy Smart Tours & Experiences, specialized in Incoming services. The work is huge and since I'm more and more busy designing new tours and experiences for my guests, I often ask for collaboration with good colleagues who can welcome you in my place. It is important to know that they are all professionals and above all they share with me the same passion.

Amazing day in the countryside. Very informative and the perfect mix of exploring local towns and spending time at family run wineries. Maurizio and his trusty dog Sprtiz were perfect hosts. Great wine, food and conversation. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic day with Chiara touring the Tuscan hill towns and wineries. She first took us to a fantastic viewpoint of Florence on our way out and gave us some background and history of the city that we did not have while exploring on our own. We then had a brief stop in San Gimignano, a medieval hill town, and were off to the first gorgeous winery for a tasting and appetizer (plus a little bonus tasting of lasagne with truffle oil!). Next we had a short drive to our second stop, a smaller/more intimate winery, for a light lunch and another tasting. We loved connecting with the owners/families at both (including Spritz the dog!), trying delicious wines, olive and truffle oils, and it would not have been the same without our wonderful host, Chiara!! I highly recommend this experience.

This was a wonderful experience. Filomena met us in front of the National Library of Florence and took us to San Gimignano (beautiful town), where we got to explore for an hour. We then went to two wineries where we met Miro and Maurizio, both amazing hosts and incredibly knowledgeable. The wines, food, oils, and vinegar were all so good. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My husband and I highly recommend! If you can request a host, ask for Filomena!

Adriana was our tour guide and she was awesome! So thoughtful and kind. We had a great experience. The first winery is family owned with lots of wine to taste. The second is the most amazing farm with the cutest dog- Spritz! We love both but our favorite was the farm. We bought some awesome lotion made from the farm’s olive oil. The lunch was incredible but the best part was our conversations with the farmer and Adriana. Thank you for this incredible experience!

Our driver was fantastic. He provided great insight during our trip and answered all of our questions. We had a great time at both vineyards and really enjoyed our interaction with Mira at the first one. If there is one thing to improve I would have like a little more time in San Gimignano.

Our guide/ driver was Filomena, not Simone. The trip was well timed. We had sufficient time to enjoy each stop The Medieval town of San Gimignano is breathtaking. My one recommendation would be to time the tour so that more shops and restaurants are open when we arrive. The two wineries were quite different. One was quite large; the other much smaller, organic and artisan. There was a great selection of wine.
