What you'll do

Join us for an afternoon of mindfulness and meditation immersed in the nature of the beautiful French countryside. Meet us under the apple trees of our garden and enjoy homemade fruit cordials as we openly chat about the world of mindfulness and meditation, what it is and all of it's amazing benefits. We will guide you through an introductory meditation of breath practice in our home grounds before departing on a local, hour long, rural walk. Experience your surroundings and the beauty of the French countryside and little French town in a whole new way as we apply some of the principles of mindfulness practices on our walk. Returning back to our property, enjoy a pot of Tilleul herbal tea, a local citrus scented leaf after which our village was named and indulge in some truly yummy, home baked vegan dessert. This kind of baking is a new passion of mine and we'll be testing out recipes to be featured in my new ebook. We conclude our session with a final meditation and relaxation practice, bringing a deep sense of calm for you to take with you for the rest of your day.

This experience is appropriate for all levels, whether you're completely new to the world of mindfulness & meditation or an experienced practitioner.
Walking level is gentle but can be increased.

I'm a mindfulness & meditation teacher which for me is no less than a dream come true. A little over 10 years ago, the dream was to move to France so my family & I could spend more quality time together enjoying each other, the French countryside & fresh air. Back in England I was a midwife which I wholeheartedly loved but my life in France inspired a career change, so I spent time studying herbalism & cognitive behavioral therapy, before finding a balance I loved with mindfulness & meditation. Now the dream is bigger & involves sharing an experience of mindful meditation with others.

Where you'll be

We'll start & finish in our garden which I love because there is space to simply absorb the beauty of the surroundings. Set in 10 acres of blue bell woodland it is beautiful in all seasons, my favorites being Autumn for its copper tones & Spring when the daffodils & bluebells pop up. If the weather is against us we invite you into our traditional thatched Normandy long house & recommend outdoor clothes for a walk through our local countryside.

All expectations were met on the wonderful afternoon I spend at Theresa's retreat. I was happy to have made the choice to spend some of my precious time without kids for this experience. Theresa was very welcoming, warm and engaged in a nice and respectful way. I enjoyed the meditation and the beautiful walk. Theresa shared her expert knowledge and experience, dedicated to give you a nice experience and thoughts to take home. After the relaxation exercises and a lovely piece of vegan lemon cake, I left refreshed for the rest of my holiday. I higly recommend!

We attended the Mindfulness in Nature experience which was nice and provided some new perspectives and as well a refresher in meditation and mindfulness. It was a very relaxing afternoon enjoyed in Theresa’s garden. I expected a longer nature walk as pictured on the event page, but we just strolled around in her garden which was a bit of a disappointment.

We had a great afternoon with Theresa! Her positive energy brought us peace, we really enjoyed the afternoon, meditating in her beautiful garden! And oh, the cheescake was so yummie!!! We would definately recommend this experience to everyone, especially in these days when we are all very busy with our life and not appriciating the simply beauty of life!
