What you'll do

My hometown is very close to Cu Chi Tunnels where I will guide you to the historic area and explore the daily life in the nearby village by bicycle. You will discover how people do farming on the "death land" after the war and how to make the spring rolls from rice paper. One of my sisters makes the rice paper by hand at home then you will have a chance to see how the rice paper made from rice powder traditionally. Be prepared to be brave and sweat in the tunnels and be joyful in the garden and the kitchen as you will prepare your lunch in the style of local people.

I was born in a small and quiet village near Cu Chi Tunnels where my other 2 sisters were born underground. No tree can survive in the village due to the bombs during the war but now it's fruit-full through-out the year with rice field, peanut and tropical fruits. Managing a few big projects in an IT company that makes me pretty busy all the time, except weekend. I love travel and going back to my hometown every weekend to enjoy the country life is the sweet moment as ever that I want to share. I can be reached via email at nhung.huynh.nguyen@gmail.com or WhatsApp: +84 918296542 for further info.

Where you'll be

Will stop at a local market in early morning to join the daily life with people there. We then will go further to the drainage system starting from my mom's house where the farmers get water from Dau Tieng Reservoir and where you can see a wide field for rice and peanut and join with the farmer during the harvest. Cycling along the canals which is used for local people only to reach the tunnels at the end will be the unique moment for you.
