What you'll do

Be amazed by the natural beauty that is to be experienced at the 6+ stops throughout multiple sections of the Springbrook National Park each with varied walking distances, only a low level of fitness is required, but some locations we visit are not wheelchair accessible. Total duration from is approx 7-8 hours. If you are concerned with the distance, please contact for more information.

Get ready to experience breathtaking waterfalls, surrounded by ancient flora and walk as dinosaurs once did through the World Heritage listed Gondwana Rainforests. Explore subtropical, warm & cool temperate rainforest types and a experience a diversity of natural vegetation including the oldest trees on the Australia's mainland!

Generally we are in the rainforest before the larger tour groups arrive, so we will have the best chance to see some native animals, as well being able to enjoy the natural serenity of the rainforest! We are always a small group, so we don't waste time loading a bus - which means we can see more waterfalls in less time compared to the large tour groups.

Lunch is provided at the top of one of the many beautiful waterfalls that we will visit.

Door-to-Door Pick-up included from Gold Coast locations. Group size is always a maximum people! For any group bookings, or to request a date that isn't listed or any enquires please message or email: gcrainforesttours@gmail.com

I am frequently leading nature tours Gold Coast Rainforest Tours and I have a good knowledge of the local surroundings. In my private time I love being in the outdoors and am almost constantly surrounded by nature. Having grown up around Aboriginal communities across various parts of the country, I have also developed a good understanding of the land, plants and animals that live across Australia.

Private Charters are also available.

Check out the other wildlife experiences that I host, we might be able to do it on the same day!

Definitely value for money. Pete was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were kind of nightmares for tour guides (because we keep to ourselves) and it was a small group but Pete managed to keep things going. It was mostly a hop on hop off tour to visit waterfalls with just the right amounts of walking.

I loved this tour. Peter was absolutely amazing. Made me feel welcomed from the beginning and shared all his knowledge and experiences with us - both of the area, vegetation, wild life... he knew the best spots for pictures and went beyond his way to find us the best locations. Highly recommended him

Just got back from a lovely day out. Pete is just a beyond wonderful guy. Very smart and insightful and very courteous and thoughtful. Such a gentleman and just an all around nice guy. He even picked me up and dropped me off at my Airbnb. During the tour he answered all our questions and really knew his background on everything. He’s very observant and doesn’t let you miss a thing. Being a solo traveller, I felt very included in the tour and had some good laughs throughout the day. The group was small, which was perfect, and very cool and easy to be relaxed around. Lunch was nice and it was just an overall enjoyable day. I highly suggest anyone who’s thinking about it to book this tour. You won’t regret it :)

Definitely a must-do! Pete is wonderful, he’s a very positive person and definitely has a passion for what he’s doing. Also he told us a lot of information not only about the interesting trees and birds but also some history behind the region, which was great. Although my mom did need a little bit of translation because she has difficulties understanding Australian accents 😅
