About Appalachian Horse Center

The Appalachian Horse Project was established in 2014 to care for the free-roaming herds of horses in the mountains of SE Kentucky. We work with local Animal Control to pick up horses that are injured, too skinny, or have wandered into residential areas. This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Appalachian Horse Center. .
