What you'll do

Upon departing marina Puerto Del Rey, our guests enjoy the beautiful views of the El Yunque Mountains and the waterfront of the Fajardo coastline. After a comfortable ride of thirty minutes to an hour, we anchor at one of the small deserted islands off the northeast corner of Puerto Rico. Guests can practice their snorkeling, beach comb, and swim in the crystal clear waters of the island. Lunch is served at approximately 11:30am, and then the catamaran moves on to a reef area for snorkeling. The excursion is also complimented with a rum bar for our guest and non-alcoholic beverages. A leisurely sail back to the marina brings us back to the dock at 3:30pm.

It was a wonderful experience! The crew went out their way to make sure everyone was comfortable. The beaches were beyond beautiful. Once we docked the bar was open and the bartender was quick with a joke as he mixed everyone on board delicious rum cocktails. I had a great time!

This was an absolutely amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience! Icacos Island was breathtaking. The water surrounding the island was perfect for snorkeling. My family and I truly enjoyed every moment of the excursion and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico.

This trip was everything! Levi and the crew we had were so chill and easygoing. They explained everything perfectly. You take the boat out to the island and have some time to spend there. You receive free drinks (rum) and a delicious lunch. Then we went to the coral reefs and got to snorkel near the fish and different species. I was nervous that i would get sea sick as it was my first time on a boat but i was great the whole time. I was also afraid to swim in deep water (even though i can swim) but the equipment they give you makes it so EASY! The only thing i would change is more activities, when you get to the island it’s hard to bring your drink with you and there’s not much else to do besides walk or get sun. Also, it’d be awesome to have more energy during the boat ride everyone was just sitting and music, dancing could have been nice! But overall amazing experience! I would definitely do again.

Having done this excursion last August my expectation was a specific catamaran. It was not the same. I learned they have different vessels and the only way to assure you get on specific vessel is by calling company directly and asking if it will be available. And although they send an email (that I didn’t read) with type of boat there was nothing I could have done but cancel the trip. It wasn’t as fun or spacious. My son and I, in August had a blast on the East Island Catamaran. It had a slide and it was spacious, it never felt crowded. We got on a much smaller 25 person catamaran and felt like sardines. Not as fun for the kids and my son was disappointed. Another aspect to note on winter season is to double check the wind speed and wave height (not sure what’s called) because for any of whom may get seasick 40-60% of the ride was really choppy and roller coaster like. Current are stronger and although I felt the children in my party were safe it was a lil bit stressful. I later remembered that the August crew made sure my son had a proper life jacket (coast guard certified) not just a waist floaty. This crew didn’t even bring them out and there were 5 children on the catamaran. Overall it was pleasant, however the bar was set high in August and February did not meet expectations. I will add that die to earthquake many tourists cancelled trips to the island making a tour like this very small turn out.
