What you'll do

In a small group, you'll admire ancient Roman, Egyptian, and Greek sculptures, marvel at Renaissance masterpieces by Michelangelo and Raphael, and stand in awe of the Vatican's crown jewel: the Sistine Chapel.

You don't have to be an art expert or deeply religious to enjoy this Vatican experience. The content will always be interesting, we'll discuss Vatican secrets & conspiracies, and you'll have plenty of free time for exploration and photos (you wont be herded around like sheep).

The halls of the Vatican Museum are 26 miles long (42 km) and contain over 70,000 pieces of art! Without a guide it can be quite overwhelming, so feel free to join me and my awesome team of cohosts on this not-to-be-missed tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel!

NOTES:
- Guest must dress appropriately for the Vatican's standards; women cover their shoulders and knees, men no tank tops.
- Beginning August 6th, all visitor must show a "Green Pass" at the entrance to the Vatican. A Green Pass is the equivalent to a Vaccination card.
- The Vatican closed the passage from the Vatican Museums to St. Peter's Basilica (new COVID restriction), so this tour won't include St. Peter's. You can visit St. Peter's any time for free (all churches in Rome are free) and the tour will include helpful and relevant insight for your visit there

Originally from the United States, I've been lucky enough to call Rome home for the past 11 years!

I first came to Rome to study its incredible history, but Italy's charm, excitement, and food have kept me here for over a decade.

In addition to sharing the incredible 3,000 year history of Rome during the tour, I'm equally excited to share my top picks for pizza, pasta, gelato, and all things delicious in Rome.

Along with my officially licensed, English speaking co-hosts, we'll take care of all reservations, so your visit to Rome's greatest sites includes a fun and informative tour while skipping the long lines.

I literally cannot say enough about how amazing this tour is. I’ve done a Vatican tour before, and this was 10x better than that. Our guide, Christina, has been working as a guide in the Vatican Museums for almost 20 years and has an incredible well of knowledge about every piece in the collections. Never before have I had such an enthusiastic tour guide who was an actually expert like Christina is! Even our most ridiculous questions were answered, like “how many years did it take to carve this?”. The best part of this tour was that Christina pointed out the little things in paintings and the history behind them, such as the pettiness of Michelangelo! 10/10 recommend. Best tour in Rome.

Had a great experience in the Vatican with our guide. She broke down the museum in a very viewable format, and was nice enough to focus on the highlights. Her ability to link the centuries was impressive.
