I grew up in Tokyo and worked as a designer before making my name in street art. Known for drawing with markers, I also work with spray paint and acrylics. My work is in Miami, New York, and Tokyo.

Where you'll be

We'll be in the Kyodo neighborhood in the western Setagaya ward, which is close to the center of the city but also contains many temples and shrines. It is quiet and peaceful, with interesting and creative spots off the typical tourist's radar.

Jay and Dorami are some of the coolest people you will meet. Jay has works around Tokyo, and if you're familiar with street art, we also got to see the pow wow Japan piece (Jay was one of the artists featured). The entire experience was amazing, first by getting to know them over dinner and then on the street art tour. The spray painting workshop was incredibly fun, and Jay let us have free reign over what we wanted to do. If you want something incredibly creative and fun or if you are a fan of street art, you must do it!

This experience was a lot more than I expected! Jay is a really cool guy, very talkative and funny. He is very knowledgable about street art and was very happy to share his thought and opninions about other subjects as well. Dinner was awsome, the restaurant is really nice and Jay even made sure to include some vegan options for me. During the tour we went to some really unique spots that I would probably never be able to find just by walking in the streets of Tokyo. The workshop was probably the highlight of the experience, we learnt some really nice techniques and it deffinetly gave me the push I wanted to focus more on my art. Highly recomended for anyone who is interested in street art and art in general!

Jay was a fantastic guide through hidden spots in Tokyo including great food, unique and exceptional streetart we would have never seen otherwise, and a great teacher during the workshop. I can't say enough good things about it. He is very open to questions and was so welcoming to us. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in art, culture, or wants to have a unique and different experience in Tokyo than any guidebook would give you.

Jay and his colleague Dorami were delightful hosts. He is extremely knowledgable about the street art scene in Tokyo today. As a street artist himself, he was able to show the group quite a lot of pieces all over the city. There is no way that I would have found these pieces on my own! The trip description was quite accurate. We had a lovely dinner at a local restaurant with Japanese foods. The following day, Jay & Dorami drove us around to see what street art was happening in Tokyo today. Jay even took us to see pieces done by anonymous artists. Jay is Japanese with good communication skills in English. He's fun-going & likeable. It was a great authentic experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in the street art scene

Having Jay as a hosts is such an incredible experience! He is kind, thoughtful, friendly and straight-up cool. During each experience you will certainly feel like you are taking a part of something no one else has access to.
