I’ve been sailing since I was young and have been involved with Classic Yachts for the past 13 years. After skippering numerous yachts for many years, winning countless regattas, I decided to buy my own Yacht with the aim of making Classic Sailing more accessible to the general public, not just the rich and famous!
Where you'll be
After meeting in the port we will head out into the Bay of Cannes and will discover a different view of the area. From the ocean you have a much different perspective and always a better view. Explore the beautiful Iles de Lerins or the stunning National Park to the west, Les Estérel. With many fantastic anchorages to choose from, offering protection from most weather conditions, you won’t find a better bay to sail along the whole coast.

This was a once in a lifetime incredible experience. Thanks to Alex and Josh for an incredible day. We had delicious food and they even catered for vegetarian. We paddled, we supped (stand up paddle boarding), snorkeled, drank wine all in the most beautiful location. All in all a perfect day that we could do again and again.

Alex is a premiere expert in both the nautical and hospitality fields. He and First Mate Josh were ultimate professionals in sailing us off the coast of Cannes. We loved their laid back demeanor, great attitudes, and focus on safety. Alex has sailed around the world on 90 foot sailboats and his sea stories are epic. Our lunch was great but the company of our hosts was even better. I highly recommend taking a sail on the Algue with Capt Alex. It is a gorgeous vessel and there is nothing like jumping into the Med from its deck.

Sailing with Alex was one of the highlights of our trip. We sailed quite a bit but also had ample opportunity for swimming and laying around in the sun with a glass of rose in hand. He taught us so many interesting things about the area, and he is clearly a very skilled and qualified boat captain. The lunch provided by Alex and his wife is wonderful. Highly recommend.

This experience was one of our highlights of the trip! It was such a fun ( and stunning) day on the water. Alex and his co-captain, Frances, were so friendly and organized. The boat was beautiful, clean perfect for lounging on. Beyond the sail, the food was delicious!
I highly recommend doing this day trip!
