What you'll do
We belong to two CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture), one which provides us weekly with seasonal produce throughout the growing season, and the other with locally raised meat that is delivered monthly! Each Experience will differ based on what time of year it is taking place. We will use the produce we receive from the CSAs or Farmers' Market and augment it with other ingredients from local establishments. First, we will consult on the menu, then create a list of additional ingredients we need, purchase them, and then return home to prepare the meal! Wine to compliment each meal may also be included. If you book on Saturday, you get the produce fresh from the farm!

Ainslie And John
I began cooking as a child and approach meal preparation like an artist creating a new work each day. Brooklyn is an incredible place to live, and I will show guests how it is possible to eat local, support small producers, and cook delicious healthy meals in the middle of a big city. I am a consummate home cook and pride myself in preparing seasonal menus. Come along as we select the freshest ingredients, then prepare a gourmet meal!

Where you'll be
If you book on Saturday during the growing season, we will first visit a local CSA to see what the week's share consists of. At other times of year, we will go to the Grand Army Plaza Farmers' Market. After consulting on the menu, we may head to other local establishments to obtain any additional ingredients. The CSA is only accessible to members and their guests.
