Willamette Valley Wine Tour

Portland, United States

Experience hosted by Niko

6 hours
Includes food, transportation
Up to 3 people
Hosted in English

What you'll do

We'll meet in N. Portland and leave from there for a full day's private tour. (If you are coming with your own car there will be plenty of free street parking).

We'll visit three of my favorite boutique style wineries where you will have the opportunity to taste some of the best Pinot Noir wines the Willamette Valley has to offer, among many other varietals.

We’ll learn about Oregon’s wine region and what makes it so unique. Many of the wines are limited in production and are only available at the wineries.

(tasting fees are not included).

You’ll enjoy a charcuterie plate including artisan cheese and meats to be paired with the wines at one of the wineries.
Other things to note
•Bring a love of adventure
•No wine knowledge required
•A late breakfast is suggested as we have a full day of touring
•Charcuterie will be served
•Tasting fees not included
• Gratuity always appreciated

Hey there! I am Niko.

Please join me as we discover and ‘Experience’ the beauty of Oregon's wine country.

I am from Greece and growing up I was surrounded by the basics of life: good food, krasi (wine), family and good friends. I have also spent many years in Germany where I had the opportunity to discover many more things about wine. Sharing these things with my guests has always been my passion.

I help at many vineyards with harvesting, sorting, pressing, bottling and of course tasting.

I am looking forward to meeting you and guiding you through Oregon's wine country.

I highly suggest you stop reading this and book with Niko ASAP. We did a girlfriends trip to Portland and wanted to also tag on Willamette Valley. It was incredibly last minute but Niko immediately replied and developed a tour for us that was unique, special and something we could have created for ourselves. Not only were the locations amazing (who doesn't love sipping wine, in front of a fire place, with snow in the background?) but Niko was such a delight to be around. He was passionate, caring, and you truly walked away feeling like you got an inside look at Willamette Valley. Please book this! You won't be disappointed!

We went to 3 wineries: Tresori, Vidon and Ruby. We had an amazing time with Nico. He is an expert on Oregon wines and wine making. The three wineries we visited were small batch and locally owned. We look forward to our next visit to Oregon wine country.

Niko was amazing! We had such a great experience, not only with him but with the wineries as well. He has so much knowledge of wine and the local wineries, it really helped with the education and experience of the area. My wife and I felt as if we were not on a commercial tour, but being lead by an experienced friend who shared his passion and love of the land and the wine tasting experience. Bottom line..... take this tour! Niko has a vast knowledge of the Willamette Valley and is very personable. We are coming back!

We had an awesome day and it was thanks to Niko. From the minute he picked us up until he dropped us off, it was great. He shared stories, experiences, and did his best to get to know us. He let us create our own time line. We ended up finishing early with the three wineries, so instead of taking us back early, he offered to drive us to another winery. Every winery knew Niko and went out of their way to make sure we had a better experience because of it. If you are looking for a private driver, great stories, great wine, and a comfortable experience, then sign up for this tour.

An amazing experience that will live long in the memory. Niko was a very warm and enthusiastic host with incredible passion for wine and food, sharing lots of his knowledge throughout the experience. We visited 3 wineries in the Willamette Valley, Ruby, Colene Clemens and Fairsing all three of which were in fabulous scenic locations with breathtaking views. The third was picked by Niko because of its ties to our home country of Ireland, a nice personal touch. I'd have no problem in recommending Niko's experience to everyone interested in exploring the vineyards of the Willamette Valley especially to anyone who loves wine, food and friendly conversation.

Niko was fantastic. He arrived early and fully prepared with a wonderful cheese board and water. He has a deep understanding and appreciation of the wine scene and shared interesting stories during our time together. He was able to find small production, high quality producers where we could sit down and meet the producers and enjoy their wines at a leisurely pace. We have done many wine tours around the world - Niko is as good as it gets. Highly recommend.
