Hi, we're John, Kate, Rachel and Amy! John, Kate, and Rachel (your guides) are all experienced and incredibly well-reviewed tour guides with a passion for grisly history. Having grown up in Scotland and conducted in-depth personal research on the subject, these three have an astonishing wealth of personal knowledge on Edinburgh's dark and grisly history. If you want to learn something about Edinburgh you can't hear anywhere else, they're your guys. Amy is Child.org's Creative Producer and she has an appetite for all things gruesome. Thanks to this incredible woman, 100% of the money from your tickets go to Child.org - an international development charity creating waves in the sector to give every child in Kenya an equal opportunity in life.

About the organization

Child.org

Child.org is no ordinary international development charity. It is an innovative, sector leading organisation that works to achieve one thing: an end to childhood poverty and inequality. From baby starter packs and pregnancy support groups in Kenya, to and agricultural support training and capacity building, Child.org does what works. Visit our website to take a look at our current projects.

This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Child.org.

Where you'll be

We begin at the Duke of Wellington Statue - right across from the Balmoral Hotel with a stunning view of Edinburgh castle. We visit Greyfriars Kirkyard, haunted by the Mackenzie Poltergiest. We explore the gothic architecture around the city and end our tour on the aptly named ‘World’s End’ which is where the old meets the new.
