What you'll do

A tour takes you to the most enigmatic cenotes of Tulum: Grand Cenote, Escondido and Cenote Cristal, to explore the variety of caverns, underground rivers & open sinkholes that fill the Mayan forest, plus riding a fun jungle trail on MTB that only locals know about.

Considered by the ancients as portals into the underworld, the cenotes are on of the major attractions of the region. Filled with history and mystery, these special places are home to amazing rock formations, archaeological remains from the Ice Age and the Maya, visible sections of underground rivers and loads of fun swimming in the clearest water you are likely to swim in, ever!

We will explore 3 different cenotes, each very different from the other, allowing you to get a feel for the variety that exist (there are thousands), ride our quality mountai bikes through the forest and stop in a beautiful jungle oasis for a delicious brunch.

This is an experience off the beaten track, 100% by bike, visiting the cenotes early before the crowds arrive, allowing us to enjoy great snorkeling, swimming, new friends, great food and a bit of off-road biking (easy level) in the peace of the forest.
Other things to note
This is an experience where our means of transport is a bike.
You need prior experience riding a bike.
We use good quality MTB.
Total 13km/7mi - paved & unpaved roads (uneven forest trail - its fun!)

What a magical adventure! I felt like a real mermaid. From the scenic bike ride to the snorkeling in the cenotes with the turtles to the jungle lunch which was beautiful and delicious. Juan Carlos was the very best tour guide, so many great stories and we felt like friends at the end. (Doesn't hurt that he's gorgeous and funny! haha) Highly recommend!

Very organized and felt very safe. The guide was very safe and allowed for cyclists of all levels to attend. There was humor, history, and terrific food provided. Loved all of the stops we made, and allowed time for us to dive into all the different Cenotes. DO NOT SWALLOW THE CENOTE WATER. Although this is "drinking water", I accidentally ingested some on my plunge, and immediately after felt ill for a few hours, and then the next 12 hours were another story you don't want to hear about. :)

This was one of my favorite things I did in Tulum. I am more of a physically active person and a lot more adventurous than most, so this fit right up my alley. It was a group of 7 of us who did this tour and although it wasn't the easiest for some (we had folks that were not so much bike riders), they look back and say I am so glad I did that. Alejandro and Ms. Paris (sorry I forgot your name) did an amazing job with our group. They were attentive, kind, understanding, knowledgeable and just overall great hosts. The jungle brunch was AMAZEBALLLLLLLLSSSSSSS. it rained so there were many puddles, but for me that made it fun. Advice: bring insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat to wear under your helmet (the sun is real), shoes you won't mind getting dirty and a positive mind. Be mindful that the first cenotes you go to, they make you rinse off (even your hair melanin queens), but just make it look like its wet and youll be ok. The overall experience is a must do and these are the hosts to do it with. Thank you all for a memorable day.

Great day exploring 3 different Cenotes by bike with wonderful guide, Carlos. The day started early at 8am and some light snacks were provided with water and then we headed off. Carlos was an excellent guide. He is very friendly and included everyone in the group. He is very knowledgeable and interesting, as well as fun! Carlos can speak excellent English (which is the language the tour was given in). Brunch was delicious and filling. All vegan too which I was very impressed with. We went onto two more Cenotes and enjoyed the environment, snorkelled and swam. The cycling was mostly over uneven terrain and quite bumpy. Care was needed with this. It was a good little workout and requires a medium level of fitness. All equipment provided. Leading up to the tour I communicated with Frankie who assisted with my booking. He was very informative and helpful. Overall I would recommend this tour. It’s a great way to combine exercise, exploring Tulum Cenotes, being in nature and being informed along the way.I enjoyed it very much! Muchas Gracias!

The mountain bike tour through the jungle and visiting the three Cenotes was amazing. We stopped and had a healthy lunch at a local spot that was excellent, and Frankie shared the history of the Cenotes with us. We had a small group of four, but everyone was nice and really enjoyed the time spent exploring Tulum. I’d recommend Frankie and this company to anyone looking to have a unique, personalized experience!
