What you'll do
I pick you up at the meeting point and drive you to Azeitao village, popular for the great wines, including the Moscatel of Setúbal, sweet tarts, amazing cheeses and land of the olive oil.
On the arrival, get to know the history of this Portuguese village since 13th Century walking in the main avenue, taste the famous Torta de Azeitao (tart with eggs, corn flour, egg cream and cinnamon), followed by an unforgettable visit to Bacalhoa winery and discover its history which brings together wine, nature and art in a guided tour of 60 minutes.
As art will be possible to see 3 different exhibitions, one from Africa other from Art Deco and last one from Portuguese Tiles.
The guided tour will end up by the shop for tasting a white wine, a red wine and the Moscatel of Setúbal. Time to admire the tranquil scene of the Japanese garden, in which some of the works of the sculptor Niizuma are exhibited, along with a Kaki tree, the 'great-granddaughter' of the only tree to survive the Nagasaki bomb. Also present are some olives trees with thousands of years.
Time to leave Azeitao and return to Lisboa.
Other things to note
For the safety of all, I only accept bookings from private groups up to 4 guests.
Please let me know in case of the availability is limited and you want to join us.
The use of a face mask inside the transport and in closed spaces is mandatory.

António was a stellar host, and the location was beautiful. The art was amazing and the hosts at the winery were wonderful, but I think António knew more about the tour and wines than they did. He's a really genuine person as well, which didn't necessarily add to the value of the trip, but he went out of his way to make sure I was having a fun time in Lisbon. Thank you!

The tour with Antonio was great! He was very friendly and knew a lot about Azeitao and also about the art we saw and wine we tasted. I loved this wine tour because it was not just a typical wine tasting. We went to a specific wine region so we got to see views in Portugal along the drive and we also got to see Japanese and African Art which was amazing. I highly recommend this tour !

This was one of my favorite experiences in Lisbon. This is much more than a wine tasting. We visited a wonderful village and saw an excellent collection of tiles, African Art, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco, as well as a Japanese garden. The tour guide at the winery was exceptional, as were the wines. Antonio was very knowledgeable about history and economics and I so enjoyed our conversation. I highly recommend this tour on your visit to Lisbon!!!
