What you'll do

Join wikikopi's Chief Coffee Officer Angelina for an intimate coffee tasting session: a great way for anyone to get started in appreciating all the complex flavours of coffee.

The 2 hour coffee testing session will cover:

history of coffee
coffee varieties
characteristics of Indonesian coffee
either cupping or brewing tasting of 4 separate beans (3 Arabicas & 1 Robusta) according to Specialty Coffee Association protocols.

Specialty coffee from Indonesia will be featured as one of the 4 beans!

The session will take place in the space of our local cafe partner Ziferblat Coventry.

Hi! I'm Angelina, an architect by training and the co-founder and chief coffee officer at Wikikopi, a platform that helps Indonesian coffee farmers receive a fair share for their hard work.

I've recently moved to the UK and I'm so excited to share with you my passion for the complexity of coffee, and the experience I've gathered working on-the-ground with Indonesian farmers.

Since 2016, I've also been a member of WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms), a global movement that connects volunteers (WWOOFers) with organic farmers, in order to promote cultural and educational exchange, and to build a global community for ecological farming and sustainability
practices.
