Perfect food tour with a lot of cultural information and history. Come with an empty stomach as the foods are really generous. As non Dutch nationals (but long term residents) the hosts have a knowledge that they have worked hard to acquire to build their life in Amsterdam. This adds to the trip as we see through the eyes of curious and enthusiastic ‘newcomers’. The best of this type of tour I have ever done.

While the tour was enjoyable and the host was so lovely and nice, I do not think the price is quite worth it. I appreciated the focus on local family owned businesses, but was a little disappointed that everything was in the same area and there was not much of a tour involved. All the food sampled was very good, but I did not believe it added up to the amount charged for the tour. This pains me to say because the host really was very sweet and knowledgeable.

Moving to Amsterdam was a long-time dream for both of us. For a year and a half before the move, we hosted dinners in Tel-Aviv four times a week.
