This was a great and unique experience. Ayanda told me about the history of the township, and then we walked to Rands. You get to visit a local staple that you likely wouldn’t find yourself at otherwise. I didn’t feel unsafe at any point. Ayanda and his cohosts were all super friendly and welcoming, and made sure I had a great time along with everyone else who was there.

I loved my experience in the township of Khayelitsha. It was exactly the kind of experience I was looking for (authentic South African vibes at a cool place with nice people). I felt very safe and welcome all the time and Ayanda and his friends took care of me very well. If you are looking for an authentic cultural experience outside of Cape Town including an atmospheric outdoor party with South African music this is the right choice for you!

AMAZING!!!! Don’t even think twice about booking! They’re a great duo! Worth every cent for a genuine vibe with locals. I did not feel like an outsider at all. The community is soooo warm and welcoming to ALL people.

Ayanda and Buntu treated me like family. Ayanda and I had such an engaging experience where we shared personal perspectives. It really made me feel like I got to know his community. Later we partied like old friends and I met really nice people. I know when I come back to Cape Town that I have true friends here.

This is a unique experience you don’t get anywhere else. Buntu and Ayanda show you around the township and take you to a favorite bar/club in the neighborhood, and it’s a total blast. Spending the afternoon at their favorite club gave us an awesome glimpse into what young people in Cape Town do on their weekends - and we wouldn’t have ended up there otherwise. We had awesome bbq, drank beers, and danced the afternoon away.
