An expert in wellness and eco tourism, my guiding style provides just enough information for you to feel connected with the people and culture, while allowing you the time and space to really seep into your experience.
I love traditional Japanese food, art, hot springs and the gorgeous region of Gunma I have lived in for over 30 years. I know lots of locals and hidden treasures in this region that is challenging for visitors to explore on their own. After spending years researching and teaching tourism and hospitality at Japanese universities, I shifted my career to become a host and guide. My academic background also included storytelling for intercultural understanding. These skills all combine seamlessly to allow me to connect with guests and help them get the most out of their precious vacation time. I look forward to meeting you!
