What you'll do

We will meet in Pisac is a tourist town in the Sacred Valley, 45min drive from Cusco. If you need a transport from Cusco, I can arrange our local taxi driver to pick you up (cost 60 soles) From Pisac we will take a private taxi to the Kinsa Cocha Laguns, the two Andean lakes. It will be around 30-40 minutes drive up on dirt roads via Andes communities with the breathtaking views over the valley.

After an introduction we will start our walk along the lakes in silence and contemplative mode. The meditative walk will be introduced slowly, in phases. There will be time for a picnic and contemplation of the stunning nature that's going to surround us. Once nature meets awareness, the magic happens! "Conscious hiking not only calms and grounds us—relaxing both mind and body—but it also deepens our connection to the natural world. Excuse the cliché, but mindful hiking is really about remembering to stop and smell the roses (or the eucalyptus, as the case may be)."

After about 3hrs we will head back to Pisac. I can drop you to the town where I highly recommend to spend some time in. It has a beautiful artisanal market, lots of nice cafes and lovely small town feeling

My name is Gosia. I am Certified Meditation and Yoga Teacher. I'm combining the two things I love the most: hikes & meditation. Born in Poland but since 2016, the Sacred Valley, Perú has been my permanent home. It all started in 2013 when I took a career break from successful corporate life in UK to find my true passion and a new recipe for life. What supposed to be 6 months break turned into years of exploration. Join me on this journey. Vamos!

Where you'll be

Kinsa Cocha Laguns are two remote lakes, the most peaceful, silent retreat you’d find in the Sacred Valley. It is a series of high Andean lakes off the tourist radar. It's a few hours, gentle hike with a dirt road guiding us around the both lakes. The beauty of the place is unforgettable and stunning.

What an amazing experience! Gosia’s meditative hike surpassed all expectations! Gosia was a fantastic host / guide. Not only very knowledgeable about meditation, Gosia made it so easy for us to understand and participate in the meditative hike! The trail was secluded and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommend!

The Kinsa Cocha lakes truly are a hidden gem in Cusco region. It is a really great hike for beginners or just for people who don't want to be rushed, like it happens with most of the guided hikes in the region. Gosia is a really great guide. She is calm and adjust her pace to the group. She is also knowledgable of meditation techniques and a really good teacher. After mors than 4 months in Peru and numerous hikes, I can finally tell that I truly enjoyed the nature (had the time to do so without being rushed by a stressed guide) and its silence. The lunch was also super great! I would highly recommend Gosia as a guide and that place to hike as well!

This hike was a beautiful experience on multiple levels. The scenery is breathtaking, and the energy of the place is powerful, and there were few other people around, so silence abounded. Gosia is a kind, sweet, loving soul and gifted teacher. She knows when to speak, when to listen, and when to maintain silence, and that is truly an art. I took this hike instead of going to Machu Picchu, and made the right decision. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.
