What you'll do

Welcome Taos Fun Hunters!
This active, immersive and challenging adventure is a deeper dive into the art, history and vibes of Taos. It is a 2 hour hunt of a list of creative challenges, social experimentation and being amateur detectives on the hunt for the type of local stories a good tour guide would tell you.
The magic part of this experience is YOU! Its a co-creation between you and your host that is not a passive event like a film, or tour. This happens because you take on the missions and go make it happen.

Pick your super hero team name before our pre-hunt powwow and come ready for an exhilarating and unique adventure.
You may even make a friend or two. You need Whats App to interact with your host and send clues back and forth.
Q. Will we be finding GPS points, solving math clues and using GPS, like on most scavenger hunts?
A. No, these hunts are quite different. Come prepared for something completely new.

FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE FOR TIMES AND DATES NOT ON THE SCHEDULE WHEN YOU READY TO BOOK.

Now introducing Eagle and Turtle team options.
Choose Eagle to play an active and challenging game to get all or most of the clues.
Choose Turtle to cruise at your own speed, enjoy the scenery and just do some of the clues.
Both team types have the same amount of allotted hunt time.

This was unlike any other scavenger hunt. Easy and entertaining and we learned many interesting stories that bring history to life. Tara has a wealth of knowledge and is a talented story teller. Do it, you won’t be sorry.

It was so fun to do Tara's Taos hunt when we visited! Of course I know and love her Tucson hunt, which I help cohost but I had never been to Taos before and loved this engaging way of exploring a new and totally unique place. I learned local stories, was a Taos artist for a couple hours and got great photos. Ok, its Santa Fe next, Tara! Beautiful mountain Meets Powerful Rio Grande I love Taos!

Red and green chilis isnt all New Mexcio has! It has its amazing stories of heros and villains and conquerors and artists. This unusual experience challenges hunters to dig deeper and explore the stories, the people and the vibe that makes people want to be artists. This was a valuable experience for me and my family. I do agree with Tara that is is something that each person has to decide to play "full on". We did so and we are glad we did.

I can see this being fun for a family, however it was a little weird for 20-30 year old age groups. I absolutely do not want to sit in silence for five minutes and share via audio transcript how transcendental the experience was in a scavenger hunt. It’s kitschy and forced, though if I was a mom I’d probably appreciate the moment of silence. Taos is a lot of fun and there are plenty of ways to get engaged and explore on your own.

I’m traveling solo (with my dog) and this was a really fun way to spend a couple hours. The interaction with Tara was all remote, but she was very attentive and involved. There are a fun variety of clues and challenges. If you’re looking for a different way to experience Taos I’d highly recommend this!

Tara was great and my husband and dog Quinn and I had a lot of fun. It was a great way to explore the city of Taos! We’d love to partake in TAra’s other hunts in other cities.
