What you'll do

A via ferrata consist of an equipped route that climbs walls and crosses cable bridges. There will be different types of iron rungs, chains and cables attached to the wall for you to climb, there are also sections where you will be climbing on the rock.
This is a loop activity with a couple exits in the middle and before the most challenging section for those who already have enough.
This popular Via Ferrata offers a great variety of passages. It also provides the possibility of combining routes according to different skill levels.
Along the Via Ferrata, I will guide you on overhanging sections, traverses and beautiful aretes. There is also an impressive 70-meter Nepali bridge, as an optional extra challenging experience.

I will provide all Via Ferrata gear and I will show you how to properly set the harness and helmet. Before we start the Via Ferrata I will do a short briefing teaching how to climb, attach yourself to the cable and rest if needed.

The approach to the Via Ferrata is about 15 minutes, and the return to the car once finished it is about 30 minutes. The Via Ferrata itself will take about 3-4 hours.

This activity is doable all year round!!

All Via Ferrata gear plus liability and accident insurance will be provided.
Other things to note
No previous experience is needed!
This activity requires some arm strength and general fitness level.

Where you'll be

We will go to the village of Centelles, located only 50Km north of Barcelona. The Via Ferrata is on the beautiful walls just above the village.
From the top of the Via Ferrata we'll have great views of the Pyrenees and the beautiful landscape of central Catalunya.
After the activity I can take you to one of my favourite restaurants so you can enjoy the local cuisine.

HIGHLY recommend!! My boyfriend and I never been in the area and out Spanish/Catalan skills are very limited. He was very clear with the instructions on how to get to the train station we were supposed to meet at. When I arrived at the station, I was worried that I wouldn’t find a way to contact him because there wasn’t WiFi. But it turned out he was right there waiting for our train! He was friendly and explained climbing well. And he wasn’t patronizing when either of us didn’t know something. When we finished the climb, he gave us some water and even gave us a ride to a restaurant to eat at in the area. If you plan to stay in the area afterwards, just a tip that they don’t speak English as much there, since it’s a less touristy area. But yeah, we LOVED this experience. So worth the money.

After 3 days of museums and culture of Barcelona this was a truly amazing activity and experience for us. We have been rock climbing for few months indoor but never outside and have never done Via Ferrata before. Marc was very knowledgeable and friendly and he made sure every step was explained to us to make us feel safe and comfortable to do it. Nepali bridge was a little intimidating for me but also once in a lifetime adrenalin lifting experience. We had perfect weather and views of surrounding area and Pyrenees in the distance were fantastic. Marc took great photos and have sent it to us right after. I recommend this to everyone who likes outdoors and adventure and would do it again if I had a chance. Thanks Marc!!!

This is my first time doing via Ferrata. It is definitely different from what I imagined but If you’re an adrenaline adventurous junkie who’s not too afraid of heights then this can be a very fun exciting and challenging way to get to the top of the mountain and see panoramic view of Spain ...which is breathtaking. It was a bit cold (Jan) and foggy so it looked like we’re where above the clouds a bit . Marc was very attentive and patient to me and my group. This is NOT for the unathletics and new to outdoor adventure people. You will need to be moderately fit and ready for the outdoor adventure. I recommend watching a short clip on what to expect. Wear protective clothing , that is comfortable and long sleeves and pants. There were some bushes that had thorns that if I did not have long pants I would definitely be scratched up. Marc supplies you with all other equipment for safety and gloves. Other than that this is my first time climbing this high. Marc made it very simple and so much fun that I forgot I was that high. I actually couldn’t believe that I could do it but Marc always encouraged me and guided me every step. Marc also took pictures along the way which I will cherish. I think I might have found a new side hobby.

This review will not do enough to describe how amazing this experience was, especially the guide Marc. Throughout the entire activity he always put our safety above all, and never once tried to hurry or rush us. A must do for veteran and new adventure seekers.
