Amazing experience! The weather was beautiful that day, and Uncle Dave was very helpful in teaching us the basics of crabbing in the Bay Area. Being able to help out firsthand was a very fun experience, and being able to catch and cook the crabs felt rewarding as well. Eating crabs with the Golden Gate bridge in the background was very surreal. I recommended this experience to all my friends!

My dad loves to fish. We surprised with this experience for his 60th birthday and I have never seen him happier. To be honest, I didn’t think it was something the rest of family would enjoy as much. Oh boy, we were wrong. My fiancé and I have been living in the Bay Area for 3 years and this was by far the coolest thing we have ever done. Eating the crab we caught with views of the Golden Gate Bridge was absolutely magical. We can’t wait to do it again!! Thank you Uncle Dave!!!!

Haven’t gone crabbing before, or anything similar and had a great time. Dave had everything set up for us and instructed us clearly and made it a fun experience for my girlfriend and I. Lots of crabs caught to eat and taken home as well.

My boyfriend and I had such a great time going crabbing for the first time! I booked this for my boyfriend’s birthday after reading all the rave reviews about it. It’s such a unique and fun experience! I thought I would need to bring some things like a lawn chair and gloves, but I ended up not needing either of them! Uncle Dave also provided everything for us including frozen crab and steamed crab to take home along with some bags for us! I could tell my boyfriend enjoyed his stories and pleasant conversations. We’re so excited to be able to bring crab home to our friends and families! I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for something local to do in the bay area.

I LOVED that our host steamed the crabs we caught after our lesson. I was delightfully surprised by how flavorful and sweet the steamed crabs tasted even without seasoning! It was a fun, tasty way to spend an beautiful afternoon with my friend. Our host was knowledgeable and shared some great history about the area and how people around the world enjoy crabs. I wish I brought white wine, wet wipes, and perhaps a picnic basket to have a nicer crab eating experience. I also wish I brought some gloves to pull up the crab traps to prevent making my skin a little bit raw from handling the ropes.
