Both my daughter and I had the best time at this Wagashi class. We felt so blessed to experience such a traditional and warm environment together. The Wagashi was delicious and the process was explained so perfectly. The hosts made us feel so welcomed and we can’t wait to try another class when we return in a different season!

My father founded Toraya over 60 years ago. I began learning wagashi-making at 18 and took over the shop at 28. We believe wagashi are artistic creations that appeal to the five senses. We create unique wagashi, like those for the Nyarachi Cat Festival in Narita, and enjoy sharing this art with guests from around the world.
