Elisabet and her friend toured us through two very large Mexican markets. While her English was good and she could have conducted the tour in our language, we appreciate that she was willing to help us practice our Spanish by conducting the entire tour in her language.
We got an authentic glimpse into the life of a resident (a chilango), with the safety that only a local guide can provide.
Highly recommended for someone looking to go off the beaten path. The markets are not a place I would visit on my own.

We toured the markets with Elizabeth as a group of four and it was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and kind, and genuinely concerned about our safety while we were out and about. We learned so much about the products at the markets, and got a deeper understanding of Mexican culture which we could not have done on our own. The tastings included with the tour were great, and her help in purchasing items was really appreciated. She welcomed all our questions and guided us safely. Thank you again for everything!

A wonderful experience in getting to know the different cultures that have contributed to what Mexico is today. Learning about the food, customs and rituals was wonderful and Elizabeth was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. My husband and I are so happy we did this tour.

Fantastic and knowledgeable guide! Elizabeth showed us things we never would have seen on our own. Can’t wait to use the mole I bought at the market.
