What you'll do

Follow along as Andreas takes you through the sights of Incheon. Located west of the capital Seoul, Incheon is the gateway between Korea and the rest of the world. The cultures and architecture reflect the interaction with the rest of the world.
Uniquely, Incheon’s intention is to preserve the past. Incheon has reinvented itself by walking through reconceptualized buildings. Abandoned factories converted into culture halls, tax collection buildings converted to museums, and bombarded mountains converted into recreational parks.
Incheon is home to Korea’s largest Chinatown, and a mecca for Jjajangmyeon (a Korean Chinese dish dear to almost everyone).
Then there is the coolest part of this little town called Jeonju. While walking around Andreas will explain what is hidden within the walls, the stuff only natives know. The cultural fabric of Korea is changing and Jeonju is situated at the crossroads of that transition. he can provide some unique insights about the curiosities most tourists typically have. The tour of Jeonju will follow typical courses most Koreans take, and along the way he will explain the traditions and the habits of past and present.

Check out the upcoming tour dates in August down below
Incheon: Oct 20, Nov 1, 8, 22
Jeonju: Oct 18, 25, Nov 3, 10, 24

New tour dates for the following month will be posted on the last week of the current calendar month.

HI! I am your host JY, the tour guide and entrepreneur of GuideLive. People know him, Andreas (my co-host) in Korea as “the Greek”. Back in Greece people know him as “the guy who has been living in Korea for the last decade.” He is one of the most authentic persons one will ever meet in life. “You can’t stay in a country for that long unless something strong compels you.” He says and he points to the food, the people, and the energy of this country as the reason. He adds “I feel at home in Korea.”
He has traveled around many places, tried many different foods and met many different people. His Korean is good enough for conversation and he has experienced unique insight into the Korean culture. Please join Andrea as he takes you along a tour through the lenses of a foreigner who knows a thing or two about his host country.
