What you'll do

Guests will be greeted by Forest and invited to sit down in his tearoom. While we begin preparing to drink our first tea, Forest will explain the basics of tea, including methods of preparation, tea culture, etiquette, and more. We will discuss each Camelia sinensis tea’s terrior, vintage, taste, smell, and energetic profile (i.e. notable physiological effects). Typically, Forest encourages the tasting participants to first enjoy the tea and comment on their observations before he gives his opinion on each tea. We will typically drink 3 teas during the 2 hour experience. Guests typically have questions about Camellia sinensis (the tea plant), various processing methods, tea history, tea lore, and the medicinal aspects of tea. We look forward to seeing you soon.
