What you'll do

A tour for all ages just outside of Boulder (accessible by Taxi, Lyft & Uber). Tours start at sunset and last for 2 hours. The show will explore the night sky with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will see and learn about planets, constellations, navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, maybe some shooting stars, and our universe. Through telescopes we will get up close looks at these objects and take in their beauty with our own eyes. The tour takes place at a easy to find trailhead (no hiking required) where phenomenal sunsets and wildlife are often seen. Guests are provided with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, snacks, hot water, tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. Guests are encouraged to bring questions, wonderment, and warm clothing (it can get cool after sunset)

I can add availability on most days by request to accommodate your travel plans (the sooner the request the better, I would like to know more than 1 week in advance)

It’s a cool idea, I bet it would’ve been really awesome if the weather was better. He did try really hard to make it enjoyable though, it was fun looking through the different types of telescopes and knowing more about the stars and plants. You can see he really loves what he does and has a passion for it. Overall, I recommend this experience.

I enjoyed the astrology tour, I did think I was ganna see stars a little more in depth but seeing the passion behind Luke’s dream was well worth it. He’s very knowledgeable about the stars and constellations and even with the clouds covering half the sky he did a great job at trying to keep the show going.

10/10 would recommend! Even though it was cloudy at times, Luke's passion and wealth of knowledge made for an interesting and intriguing time! He was able to break down distance between the stars and planets in a way that we can all understand. I learned a lot and even may want to pursue astronomy on my own as a hobby!
