What you'll do

A tour for all ages just outside of Boulder (accessible by Taxi, Lyft & Uber). Tours start at sunset and last for 2 hours. The show will explore the night sky with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will see and learn about planets, constellations, navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, maybe some shooting stars, and our universe. Through telescopes we will get up close looks at these objects and take in their beauty with our own eyes. The tour takes place at a easy to find trailhead (no hiking required) where phenomenal sunsets and wildlife are often seen. Guests are provided with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water(upon request). Guests are encouraged to bring questions, wonderment, and warm clothing (it can get cool after sunset)

I can add availability on most days by request to accommodate your travel plans (the sooner the request the better, I would like to know more than 1 week in advance)
Other things to note
Please be aware of weather, tour is subject to cancellation if it is too cloudy to see any star

Hello there I'm Luke! Born and raised in Denver, I have a degree in astrophysics from CU, and over 9 years experience in communicating astronomy. Stargazing is my passion and I would love to show you the wonders of the rocky mountain high night sky!

My mother Karen has offered to help me with messages and scheduling so don't be surprised if you get a message from her.

A truly magical experience for both Astrology and non-Astrology lovers. A gorgeous location in Boulder with multiple telescopes and expert commentary on stars, Earth's rotation, celestial bodies and locations and more. Highly recommended.

This was an AMAZING experience. Not only do you get to look at the moon, stars, planets close up but you also get to see where stars are born and some cool fun fact about ehat makes the north star so cool and the constellations. Luke is so so so knowledgeable I highly recommend asking him ALL the questions. Luke as gears the experince to what you want to learn or know about and shows you in the telescopes what you'd like to see in particular. This was an awesome experience and Luke is phenomenal. I highly recommend you adding this to you list of things to do if you are searching. 100/10
