What you'll do

Get ready for a local cricket lover’s stroll through the heart of the CBD to the historic Adelaide Oval, which has been hosting cricket games since 1873. This experience involves 2.2km of light walking with stops along the way. We'll meet at the Kings Head Pub (opposite City South tram stop) - to taste some local craft beer* with a cricket story. *Not included in price. From there, we'll walk north along King William St, stopping at Tarntanyangga (Victoria Square) to hear a lesser-known story of a South Australian Aboriginal cricketing hero. From there, I will lead you to places with cricket stories (Science Exchange, Town Hall, Parliament House, Elder Park) before we cross the City Bridge to reach our final destination - the sculpture of Don Bradman outside Adelaide Oval (Don lived and worked worked in Adelaide from 1934-2001). The experience has been designed to link you with the options of doing the 2pm Adelaide Oval Tour and/or the 3pm RoofClimb* *Adelaide Oval tours and museums NOT INCLUDED in price - book separately: https://www.adelaideoval.com.au/107/adelaide-oval-tours.aspx
