It’s said that Chengdu is a city that you don’t want to leave when you come. As more and more check-in attractions have exploded in recent years, you know Chunxi Road, Kuanzhai Alley, and Panda Base may not be Chengdu’s "Chengdu". . Did you know that almost all of the celebrity celebrities are fake? The People’s Park is not an authentic tea place in Chengdu, etc...

As a new aboriginal in Chengdu, in addition to witnessing the rapid changes in the city, the slow Chengdu in my eyes is like the sadness sung in "Wedding Street" and the smell of bean paste that permeates "Shanghai 1943".

If you like this nostalgia and ordinary as much as I do, then we will visit those characteristic old streets that are hidden in the city and are about to disappear that only the old Chengdu knows, and experience the local family life.
This trekking experience is different from other experiences. It does not go to popular attractions, does not recommend food, and does not provide paid travel photography. Because I want to take you on a pure City walk. The real scenery lies in the casual beauty. Food is often hidden in corner stalls. The best photo is the moment you take out your phone. Stop and go all the way, across most of the corner of Chengdu (KA), (KA) corner (KOK) (KOK), all of which are the fireworks alleys that I have carefully recommended for you and I have lived for decades. .
We can ride bicycles at will, we can also hop on any wooden bus that goes deep in Baihua, or take a leisurely stroll. You can take out your phone to record everything you encounter at any time, or you can taste snacks and refreshments that only local people can eat along the way. Or come to a neighbourhood teahouse with me and order a cup of coffee that is only sold in Chengdu.
1.
The entire itinerary will be sent from the city center. I will take you to find a very hidden old market nearby that has survived for more than half a century, as well as the only existing old city wall site in Chengdu. Feel the joys and sorrows of the world in the baptism of the demolition tide.
2.
Then stepped on a bicycle all the way north to the Fu River. In a residential alley less than two meters away, there is a small theater modified from an old factory. This is a niche base for niche people in Chengdu. If you are lucky, you might also be able to see Director Jia Zhangke drinking tea and chatting here.
3
After that, we can take any bus or continue cycling, and come to a few old streets near the People’s Park. Here you can ask the Niang Niang (aunt) who came across to buy food, maybe you can see it. "Sugar, oil and fruit Xi Shi" with a lingering charm.
4
At this time, congratulations on your achievement in the half-round tour of the old city of Chengdu. We can ride along the scenic Jinjiang. I will tell you some honey stories about this road. Later, I came to the wild attraction "Mandarin Duck Tower" next to my alma mater Sichuan University Wangjiang campus to experience the cyberpunk-like life of Chengdu civilians.
5
The last stop is the highlight of this experience, to experience the largest active residential area in the southwest-Yulin. Experience the unforgettable experience of the livehouse block of the locals, the smell of fireworks permeating the streets and the food to the buttress wall.
The above route also contains many hidden easter eggs, space is limited, so stay tuned! Of course, if you have your own ideas and preferences, please also let me know, we can adjust flexibly!

Hi, I’m Ethan, a new native who has lived in Chengdu for more than 20 years. Graduated from Sichuan University, known as "Moziqiao Institute of Technology" and "Wangjianglou Business School". From university to work to getting married, I have left my beauty in this city, hesitating, and there are so many people who have chased it together in those years.
I am also the first batch of airbnb homestay landlords and tenants, literary youth lovers, wild designers and other multi-personal settings. Traveled to more than 10 countries and opened 3 homestays. Know the experience and essence of travelers.
I am also a person who likes to make friends and talk, so play with me, you will feel the care and laughter of a young and middle-aged man who is not only beautiful and talented.
