What you'll do

I will make a short presentation about the nordic knitting tradition in a very "hyggelig" context with candlelights, free coffee/tea and cosy music. Guests can bring their own knitting projects or start new projects with my help. Included in the participatory price is a skein of yarn and a pattern. The projects pattern will be in english, but I will be able to assist in english, german, french and danish. In total there will be 2 hours of knitting and "hygge" in my shop but the mood sets the boundaries. I would love to see you!

Learn more about Susanne

Susanne

My shop is well known in the danish and scandinavian world of yarnies. I have been working with this field most of my life and professionally since 2005. I created the family business with my parents and sister in 1983 and since then life has been more or less about family and yarn. I knit - quite a lot - and sell yarn and patterns at my new store in Copenhagen. I design knitting patterns and have written a book with patterns. I am experienced in hosting Knitting Nights in the shop and have contributed with exhibition stands at Knitting Fairs and Festivals.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age. A little knowledge of knitting is a good thing.
