Where you'll be

We meet up in front of Tsukiji, Honganji, guiding around the temple. We go to Uogashi fish market. We can see a lot of fresh fish and vegetables. The merchants in the fish market are very kind and nice. I want customers to meet them. As long as those customers are in Japan, I would like them to talk to the local People. We go to Namiyoke Inari Shrine. This shrine is not big but very pretty. We go to Tsukiji outer market has a lot of gourmet food.

A must-do tour! Highly recommended!! I’ve been to Tokyo a handful of times before, but this was my first in Tsukiji. I wanted to do something special for my dad’s 50th birthday and we absolutely loved it. They are very friendly and are constantly taking pictures for/of you so you can enjoy the tour without distraction.

We had a brilliant family tour of the fish market with our personal Samurai guide! It was lots of fun and was paced perfectly to see everything without feeling too rushed. Lots to interest adults and young children (our kids are 4, 6 and 8 years old). Akito helped us navigate the busy streets around the market, he showed us how to make a wish at a Shrine and answered all the questions our kids could throw at him. It was great fun to do this tour with a samurai and even better that we have lots of family photos as Akito’s brother accompanies on the tour to take photos - at the end he quickly shared over 50 photos he had taken for us! And if that wasn’t enough he gave the kids a little sushi lollipop as a final souvenir. Great fun, good value and lovely guides. Thank you!

My wife and I did the Walking Tours of both the Tsukiji Fish Market and is Asakusa back to back. Akito and his brother Masa were amazing. They were both very down to earth and personable. It really felt like we were just hanging out with our friends the whole time. We were joking around a lot, but they are both also very knowledgeable and explained and taught us a lot. They know a lot of the different vendors, so if there is something that you really want to try, just ask them and they can direct you to where the best place is to try it. Next time we are back in Japan, we would certainly book more walking tours with Akito and Masa.
