What you'll do

Over the years, I learned, I observed, and ..I drunk tea (loads of tea, often very sweet ) trying to understand the unwritten rules of how to make a deal in the local market.

Dealing with and understanding another culture, without neglecting your own values is essential to any sourcing and shopping experience in Morocco.

Defining the right items to shop for your interior, your shop, souvenirs or simply finding the best addresses for manufacturing. The Medina of Marrakech can be overwhelming in many ways.

The culture, the sounds, the overload on impressions of colors, scents, and sales in the Medina often result in despair to find this unique item or a reliable workshop to manufacture. Not knowing where to turn and the different stories you hear from salesmen wanting to convince you that they have exactly what you need, make it all worse...Storytelling and getting the deal is a natural and essential part of the culture.

Our job as a team is :

Taking away the stress of not knowing where to go.

Being free to look around and not feeling pushed into buying anything.

Giving you a post-shopping service for shipping and export.
And help you to refocus on what it is you really intended to buy (we told you, it can get overwhelming)

Born and raised in Marrakech, I've been a licensed guide for a while now. I speak fluent English and have led tours from 1-12 people. I've lived enough in Marrakech to know all the tricks when it comes to a lot of things and i really enjoy sharing these tricks with my guests.

My guide was Ali and from the moment I met him, I felt that I am in the hands of a person who will make sure I have a wonderful experience. Ali is extremely knowledgable about Marakesh and the places he took me to were top quality! I was told that I should haggle as this is part of the Moroccan culture and so I did. Remember that you should pay as much as you think the item is worth and truly the shops Ali took me to were just amazing! He took me to all the places I wanted - a leather shop, cosmetics & spices, souvenirs and many other workshops that blew my mind away! Ali's English is excellent and I never felt rushed or pushed to shops I didn't care about! The experience definitely exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Ali! I sure hope we can meet again and discover more of the tours you offer in Morocco!

Issam guided us through the maze of the market place. We started in the square and explored deep into the market, stopping in each part to see the different handicrafts. We were given lots of historical tidbits and general knowledge of their way of life. Issam took us to a spice trader, through the leather section , the blacksmiths, fabric dyers, wood carvers, slipper makers, etc. He took us to specific merchants, which led me to believe they have an arrangement for these tours. We aren’t really sure if that meant a fair price for everything as he didn’t help us bargain at all, but we bought a lot of cool stuff nonetheless. It was nice to have help navigating at the very least.

Youssef was a great guide for the Médina. My friend and I did not have a big shopping list, we were just interested in finding a couple very specific leather bags (color and style). But, we had no idea where to look. Youssef helped us to know what to expect when bargaining for a deal with the merchants in the souk, and how to look for quality items. After we both found our bags, we had tea back at the riad Youssef owns and it was a very nice experience.

This was a very helpful activity especially as it was early in our trip. We most enjoyed the argon oil presentation but other things were interesting too. We were delayed meeting our host by 30min but he adjusted the tour for us which was very kind.

We did this tour as well as the monuments tour, both with Issam who was the best guide we could’ve asked for. It was just the four of us and Issam so we had basically a private tour and Issam made sure it was personalised. Communication before and during the tour was quick and flawless. We had an amazing time and would recommend both tours. Issam has a deep knowledge of Moroccan history as well as everything about Marrakech.
