What we’ll do

I'm going to take you on a tour of Chinatown that will change the way you see this fabled New York neighborhood. As someone who identifies as Chinese American and has researched, photographed, and written about Chinatown at length, I offer a different perspective. I focus on the social and cultural history of the community. Together, we'll walk the historic streets, and you will learn about how…

We'll be walking through some crowded and noisy parts of the neighborhood. Closed-toe shoes or sneakers are recommended.
