What you'll do
Upon your arrival, we'll get right to meeting the horses. We will stroll the small ranch and you will experience horses 'at liberty'. In other words, not living in a box/stall. I will explain the history of the rescue, why it is needed and why we are different than every other horse rescue. Our horses are treated like the sentient beings they are, and it shows. They are warm and relaxed and look forward to visitors. My goal is to get you hands on and up close. The horses are very receptive to attention and love interacting with visitors. They will casually approach you to say hello and you will experience 'horse' in a very different way. We like to give each visitor a special experience touching and connecting with these magnificent beings. Denna, Lynn or Carolyn will then give a demonstration on how we begin the gentling process with the foals. We show what to encourage, and what to avoid. When the opportunity presents itself, we like to let you participate. This is entirely up to our foals! We end the tour relaxing at the tack shed. Your choice of a beverage awaits you. Questions are answered and you can take pictures of your favorite new friend.

Hello Horse Lovers! We have completed the opportunity to come and visit the horses for 2019. The weather is getting ready to change, and our foals, all about 6 months old now are getting ready for their forever homes! It takes a lot of circumstances to come together to make the experience happen. We need a healthy mother and foal. A willing-to-share-mom, and dry warm weather. It's all part of what makes this visit a truly unique experience. You will learn how they have so much more to offer than being instruments for riding. We hope you will check back in the early spring of 2020. Come discover the magic of horses!

Where you'll be
We're tucked away behind a grove of Eucalyptus making for the feel of a true sanctuary. We are a non-riding facility, & everything we do here is in support of the horses. To host this experience depends on many components! Horses must be healthy, foals must be comfortable around people. Weather must be dry. Hence so few dates available. It will amaze you how enchanting these otherwise unwanted lives are, and why its so important to save them.
