DONT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE! This was my favorite part of my trip to New Orleans! The tour was fantastic, and dancing along the route made it a 5-star experience. Mika is one-of-a-kind and has deep ties to NOLA and Bounce. If you want to get outside of the Quarters, check out local spots, and potentially shake it fast -- then this is your chance. You won't regret it.

There is nothing else in New Orleans like this tour! Mika and her dance lead are so welcoming and fun. We loved learning about a local neighborhood off the beaten path, and the history of Bounce music. The locals we met made it even more fun as they appreciated us dancing and walking down the street to Bounce music. The photo ops are amazing! It's a real bonding experience for a group, and made for a lifetime memory.

My friends & I decided to dress up as grannies for the bounce tour. Mika and her bounce director absolutely loved it! We learned a lot about the history of bounce and share smiles the whole tour. I would definitely suggest this tour for locals. If it's your first time here, the drop off spot may be in an unfamiliar area but I'd suggest you call an Uber to pick you up from Cajun's.

We had a blast with Shontell as our guide (& her Aunt Kit as our bonus guide :). We’re for sure NOT experienced Bounce/Twerk-ers, but this experience was so much more than that, and they met us where we were at, and gave us so beyond what we were expecting. It wasn’t just Bounce—it was also a lesson in NOLA social & pleasure club culture, jazz, rap, & so much more. We had so much fun learning all the dances, and with Shontell & Kit we felt completely comfortable in a totally foreign environment. Honestly, a perfect way to get a taste of real NOLA, guided by stewards of the culture.
