What you'll do

Get your hands dirty! Come join us in the garden to experience and learn about how regenerative and sustainable gardening will help save the environment while putting nutritious food on your plate. Feel the breeze and warm sun on your face; listen to the hum and buzz of dragonflies, honeybees, and music of the song birds, chickens and ducks.

Guests will meet around the fire pit to get acquainted while enjoying homemade refreshments. There will be a brief tour of the farm where you will see native and pollinator plants, the honeybee apiary and perhaps even meet a few chickens.

Phil Maggi, your guide, will bring you in to the vegetable garden and highlight the various herbs, vegetables and flowers growing there. Then it's time to make a salad! Planting pots, soil, organic heirloom seeds and garden makers will be on hand for each guest to make their own window-sill salad garden that they can take home as a memento of a glorious day on the Pound Ridge Organics Farm.
