Having gained a degree in Tourism management and extensively worked in the Edinburgh tourism industry I feel that I have the passion and knowledge to show you around!
I specialised my final year thesis paper on the phenomenon that is Harry Potter and how it relates to Scottish tourism.

Come with me muggles and explore where J.K. Rowling gained the inspiration for her global phenomenon. Visit the grave of "he who must not be named", learn about the cafe's where she sat and wrote the beginnings of Philosophers Stone and where she finished the series in the realms of luxury.

If your preferred date is not available, please contact me and I can try and accommodate you. Private tours are available.

I had a great experience on this tour. Katrina got in touch early to provide the relevant information and offered for me to join a different tour as no one else had booked on to my timeslot. It ended up being just me and Katrina which made the tour more personal. Katrina was very welcoming, friendly and had great knowledge of Harry Potter and Edinburgh. I got to learn about the inspirations JK Rowling took from Edinburgh as well as other facts about the city's history. Katrina also provided me with information about other activities and places to visit during my trip. Overall I loved the tour and would highly recommend to anyone, not just Harry Potter fans like me!

Katrina is extremely knowledgeable and personable. This was an excellent tour that I would take again. The experience was wonderful and well worth the price. My group of 5 had a great experience and all had positive comments. It was extremely easy to find her at the beginning of the tour, and her directions were spot on. Not only did she have in-depth knowledge of Harry Potter, but she infused local history and knowledge into the tour as well. I will highly recommend to any friends coming to Edinburgh.
