What you'll do

Dark History, Haunts, and Laughs...Oh My!!

Join the Traveling Jester for an intimate dark history comedy walking tour around the French Quarter!

An experience created and performed by an NYC comedian! After performing stand-up all over New York, the country, and internationally I came back to New Orleans to share my love of this city with you all!

Lots of death, ghosts, vampires, and laughs! You're in New Orleans, so we're going to have fun!

It's like drunk history but the host isn't drunk, that's just their personality.

We even have a bathroom/bar break halfway through and of course, the bar is haunted!

What places will we visit?
*Jackson Square
*Pirates Alley
*A vampire store
*LaLaurie Mansion
*Ursuline Convent
*Haunted Hotel
*Haunted Bars
*Haunted apartments

(Route can change depending on weather/events)

Feel free to enjoy a drink on the tour. Just be respectful of others. Who doesn't want to enjoy a spirit while you're learning about the spirits?

We keep our tour small with no more than twelve guests. I am not a sheep herder.

Of course, gratuities are always appreciated!

So book the tour and allow the spirits and I entertain you!

Age requirements: Generally 18+ but if you have a cool kid who is tagging along that loves the macabre, send me a message and we can figure out if the tour will be okay for them. :)

A few years ago I ended up in New Orleans by chance and have stayed because of the magic. I was a tour guide in New York City for a few years and have loved showing people the French Quarter even more.

I've been performing stand-up comedy for the last four years and I've performed all over the U.S. and internationally. Once I became a tour guide, I figured out my passion for sharing dark history with tourists while making them laugh.

I love connecting with people and being a tour guide allows me to meet so many incredible people from around the world!

I had SO much fun on Brittanie’s tour. She is hilarious and it was a really fun way to familiarize myself with the French quarter a bit before wondering it alone later on my trip.

We had a great tour with Brittanie. What I loved the most was that she keeps her her tour size very small. We saw so many 30 person plus tours while in New Orleans. This tour is kept to 10 people or less which helps it to seem intimate and less touristy. Brittanie doesn't go into great depth more detail about each site, but she keeps it entertaining and you get a fantastic introduction to the city. Highly recommend it.

If you’re considering it, just go ahead and book this tour. Brittanie is both hilarious and empathetic — full of good history, great jokes, and genuine interest/feeling for what she’s sharing. Despite pouring, blowing rain during most of the tour, we had nothing but fun and would highly recommend.
