In 2016, Scandinavian Alps Coffee Roasters was born. We are a micro-roastery here in Hemsedal where we carry some of the best coffees from around the world. We carry our coffees to retailers locally, via our online Webshop, and to one of Norways major grocery chains Kiwi. After working as a ski instructor/trainer around the world I found love with two things traveling: My future wife, and coffee. After studying my craft from some of the top coffee professionals in the world. I decided to jump on the entrepreneurial train and start one of the first coffee co. in the heart of the Norwegian mountains.

Great learning experience and was very nice meeting people. Our host was very knowledgeable and was keen for us to appreciate the tasting experience. Not only did my party and I meet some wonderful people but we were able to accurately define our preferences. Thank you!!!!!

Amazing! Adrian is so kind, cool, and knowledgeable! He makes the whole experience so much fun! Not only do you leave knowing how to participate in a coffee cupping, you also drink the MOST. DELICIOUS. COFFEE. that Adrian roasts himself and gives you a bag of to take home! And there are also cinnamon rolls. This is worth visiting Hemsedal for. (Also- his coffee is amazing: Scandinavian Alps Coffee Roasters.)

Lovely workshop! We really didn’t know what to expect and don’t know a lot about coffee either, but Adrian is really friendly and takes the time to explain all and let you taste the different coffees he has. We had around 6 different beans and did a classic “cupping” session after a short introduction how coffee beans are grown and processed. Really nice experience and recommended if you are nearby! Thanks Adrian!
