Aidan and Ella have grown up and lived in the North York Moors all of their lives and therefore have an extensive knowledge of the area and the wildlife that surrounds us. Aidan farms a small beef and sheep farm on the edge of the Moors and although perhaps not most traditional, the llamas are a wonderful addition to the farm. Having a small campsite as well as being airbnb hosts, they realise the importance of customer satisfaction and will endeavour that you have the most unique and fantastic experience!

We had an amazing stay at the Yurt Village. Our Yurt was spotlessly clean upon arrival and Byron and Cath couldn’t do enough for us. This was our first time Glamping and it has set the bar very high! Byron was very knowledgable about the surrounding area, we particularly enjoyed our trek through the disused mine tunnel- not for the faint hearted but great fun! The pretty seaside town of Staithes was a short walk away and we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Cod and Lobster on the seafront. If you’re looking for a peaceful yet different retreat, look no further.

We had a fabulous walk with the llamas. Aidan is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable with Tina and Dolly, our companions for the walk. We got to feed and stroke the llamas, and have some great photos as mementos of the occasion. It’s a beautiful setting and a very special experience.

Exactly what it says on the tin and more! The farm was easy for us to find, with free onsite parking at the farm, hosts met us promptly and on time. We got to meet the llama’s straight away and took them on a gorgeous walk through fields around the farm. When we arrived back we got to get up close and personal with our llama’s and feed them, even gave them a groom too! Hosts were lovely and really down to earth! We would definitely recommend this quirky experience, I mean it’s not everyday you get to walk some llama’s is it?!

Aidan is lovely and so was the experience of walking with the llamas. They all have distinct character and we walked with Dolly and Tina. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I had a great time as did my girlfriend. We would recommend and the views were beautiful too! Thanks Aidan 👍👍👍👍

Highly recommend. I had never met a llama before but Dolly and Tina were friendly and nice. Even my skeptical partner had a good time too! Beautiful location and along with a nice walk through the moors you get a cuddle with the llamas.
