What you'll do

Want to see loads in a short time, and have fun along the way? Hop on the bike we provide you with, and dive into the hidden alleyways of the old Canton! Go places most locals don't even know, and learn the stories that shaped Guangzhou and China. Experience local life in its green parks, traditional markets, and hidden hutongs. Say hi to street barbers in traditional neighborhoods, meet a kungfu master, and try local snacks. After the 2,000 year-old areas, we ride along the Pearl River to the astonishing architecture of New Town. Come with us from old to new Canton, and you will come away as a local!

Our route is 90% away from traffic, and we stop traffic before crossing. Abundant photo ops along the way. We ride slowly, so you will not be exhausted by the end. From April to October weather is hot, so best to bring comfortable clothes and a small towel! 5 and 85 year-olds have done it! Seats (max. 23kg), bikes for kids and a tandem bike are available too.

I’m a resident of Guangzhou since 2006 and I've explored every alleyway in the city by bike. I've personally hosted thousands of guests, including heads of states and celebrities, and featured in national and international media. Also a professional in urban transport and planning in China and Asia.

We are a licensed and professional tour company, that has not at all lost its personal touch. I host tours together with other local residents, foreigners and Chinese, who all bring their own experiences, stories and expertise to the tour. I may not always be available for the tour myself.

Thank you! Cherry was super sweet and fun to hang out with - and I got to see bits of Guangzhou that I never would have otherwise. This is a really interesting city that often gets overlooked by tourists. The snacks we ate were really tasty also.

Leuk en leerzaam! Guangzhou is een stad die explosief gegroeid is. Deze tour laat je de oorsprong en de historie zien. Deze fietstour is een must-do als je in Guangzhou bent.

The tour was the best experience to start exploring the city, allowing to see both the historic and the modern part of the city, as well as some cultural aspect (such as a Kung Fu center and a food market). High recommended! Bram’s colleague has been the best tour guide, she was professional, passioned and kind! We had very good time 😊
