I am the founder of The Skate Connection, a non-profit dedicated to promoting inclusion for people with disabilities through skateboarding based in Los Angeles. Through The Skate Connection I have been able to combine my strongest passions, advocacy for people with special needs and skateboarding. My love for the disabled community started in high school. when I joined a club that enabled me to make many friends with students that had disabilities, most of whom are still my friends to this day. I have been skateboarding for 16 years, and I believe it is the best way to make friends and have fun.
