What you'll do

I will pick you up at 7:30am from your accommodation. We will travel 2hs to the south heading towards the Andes, up to where our experience takes place: Rosendo Pachecho's family ranch. This is in San Carlos, Valle de Uco region.
You will learn how to saddle a horse and ride through the mountains for 1,30hs, witnessing a remote, natural and wild landscape. We'll have time to stop for coffee and enjoy multiple views, take pictures and ask Rosendo any questions. If we are lucky to meet some cattle in the way you'll even get the chance to herd them down.
Once we arrive in Los Toldos ranch I will prepared a typical argentinian barbecue, an asado, with wine (veggie option if requested).
Around 4pm we will start the 1,30hs ride back to meet the vehicle and return to the city.

This was an absolutely magical and must-do experience if you're looking for an adventure in Mendoza. Gustavo was an INCREDIBLE host and we are so grateful for his patience and flexibility with us as we dealt with some logistical issues with our hotel/drop off since we were coming from Uco Valley. He took us on the most incredible horseback ride through some of the most beautiful scenery we've ever seen, and the lunch was one of our favorites during our entire 2 week honeymoon in South America. It's truly a one of a kind experience and I would highly recommend!

Our experience with Gustavo was amazing and the talk of our entire trip. Even with some scheduling mixup on our end, Gustavo made sure the experience didn't skip a beat. Would highly recommend.
